Loy Galán has the training of the Higher Degree in Animal Husbandry and Assistance in Animal Safety from the EFA Fonteboa Eural Promotion Center. This passion for the agrarian world was reinforced by its participation in the Integrated Bioemprede Employment Program, taught by the Mariñas-Betanzos Rural Development Association and focused on the production of organic orchards and fruit.
In 2016, when the exploitation of Abegondo is registered, it is registered with the Regulatory Council of Organic Agriculture of Galicia and is the beneficiary of the aid for the incorporation of young people into the agricultural activity by the Ministry of Rural Affairs.
It has two greenhouses with a total area of 1,570 m2 and around 5,000 m2 for outdoor production. All plots are located in the town hall of Abegondo.
The commercialization of the production is directed mainly to dining rooms of schools in the territory, collective dining rooms of companies and, in a timely manner, in the supply market.
It is part of the Association “ALEGA” (Association of labreg @ s ecolóxic @ s de Galicia).
